Booking Terms and Conditions
Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions.
You, the lead booker, will be responsible for all members of your party. You must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking and you must be one of the people occupying the Property. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Property is available from 3.00pm on the day of your arrival. The Property must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. These times allow us to clean the cottages ready for the arrival of our next guests. Guests are required to take good care of the property and its contents and to leave the cottage clean and tidy on the day of departure.
Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space, ensuring cars do not block access to other properties. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles.
Dogs - Please notify us if you are hoping to bring your dog. Pease note the following:
· A maximum of two well behaved dogs, over the age of 12 months are allowed at the property.
· Ensure dogs are kept of the beds and bedding.
· Please discourage dogs from jumping up onto the sofas. We understand that your dogs may have different rules at home and so request that you bring a clean dog blanket or towel with you to place onto the sofa surfaces before allowing your dog onto them. Please avoid dog hairs or muddy paw prints from going onto the sofas, carpets, cushions, blankets or throws.
· That all dogs are kept under strict control / on a lead on the park itself.
· Do not leave your dog unattended in the chalet or chalet garden.
· Please bring your own dog bed/bowls etc.
· All dogs must be wormed and treated with the appropriate flea and tick deterrent prior to your arrival.
· We assume no responsibility for illness or injury that humans or pets may incur while on the premises.
This property is privately owned. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house. You will ensure that you and all guest will:
· act responsibly and carefully whilst at the Property, abiding by any property specific house rules and leave the Property, and all things in or at it, in the same state of repair and cleanliness as at the start of the holiday;
· only use the Property for the purposes of your holiday.
· not smoke at the Property nor allow anyone else to smoke at the Property. Please note smoking includes use of vapours and/or e-cigarettes.
· not allow more than the maximum number of people (6) to stay at the Property
· adhere to Humberston Fitties Park Rules
· treat people with respect and not act in a way which is abusive, violent, destructive, menacing, or harassing towards an Owner, any member of their team, any member of the community in which the Property is situated.
· secure the Property (including all windows and doors) whenever leaving the Property.
· familiarise yourselves with the contents of the Welcome Guide
· do not move any furniture from one room to another
· respect the community and try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11 pm and 8 am
· not charge an electric vehicle from the Property
· not use candles, tea-lights, fireworks or Chinese lanterns at the Property
· only use a barbecue or fire pit at the Property if we have provided one and do not leave unattended until fully extinguished. Please use the designated barbecue utensils and clean the barbecue after use
Please make sure you switch off lights, heating, or any electrical appliances when you go out – we’re an eco-friendly holiday property.
Please don’t take any bath towels with you to the beach (beach towels are not provided).
Damages and breakages – please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage.
Our Wi-Fi is a broadband connection. Please note that its provision is subject to availability and network conditions. It may not be available 24 hours a day and is provided for leisure, not business, purposes.
No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service.
The owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest and will not accept any liability for any personal injuries. Vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk. The company will not be responsible for any loss or damage from or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever.
The owner has the right to enter any accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies arise.
The owner reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
The owner shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building, grounds.
We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
We reserve the right to terminate a holiday and we may need to exercise our “right to evict” without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable upon booking, the balance is due 45 days before arrival.
If the booking is made within 45 days of arrival, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
If the balance is not received by the due date, then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation and you will remain liable to pay the balance.
If you cancel your holiday more than 45 days before it is due to start, then your deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel less than 45 days before the holiday, then the full balance remains due and is not refundable.
If you do have to cancel the holiday, we will endeavour to re-let it on your behalf. Should we be successful we will refund the applicable monies paid.
If you terminate your booking after the booking start date, we will not issue you any refund for any remaining nights of your booking. To clarify, this includes when you cancel your booking for any reason, including travel, inclement weather and illness.
Guests are advised to take out their own comprehensive personal holiday insurance. This should ideally cover illness, cancellation and injuries during your stay
Your booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
